Spain: Catalonia locks down 200,000 over coronavirus outbreak

(STL.News) More than 200,000 people in Spain‘s Catalonia region have been put back under lock-down after the number of infections there almost doubled in a week.  In contrast, pubs, restaurants and cinemas have reopened across England following a relaxation of lock-down rules.

(STL.News) Spain reopened its borders to European tourists on Sunday in a bid to kick-start its economy which took a battering due to the weeks-long COVID-19 lock-down.

France expected to start easing COVID-19 lockdown

(STL.News) France is expected to start lifting its lock-down on Monday.  But not everyone is happy with the decision, with some saying it is too soon and others saying the measures do not go far enough as reported by Al Jazeera’s Natacha Butler.
